Suzuki is intent on expanding its portfolio to include a full-range of vehicles. At present, the Suzuki model lineup is composed of two lines of compact cars and two SUVs.
For 2008, Suzuki introduces a sedan version of the SX4 hatchback. The SX4 Sport joins the 5-door SX4 Crossover in Suzuki's lineup, replacing the Aerio sedan. A 2.0L four-cylinder engine powers all SX4 models. SX4 sedans offer only FWD, whereas the SX4 hatchback offers only AWD. Pricing starts at about $15,000.

Based on our Velocity Index analysis, the 2009 Suzuki SX4 Sport seems to provide a good trade-off between price and vehicle performance.
Fuel Economy
Fuel economy has long been a key decision factor when buying a new vehicle. While the EPA estimates may accurately predict your mileage with a given vehicle, they are useful for broad comparisons of vehicles. Note that many trucks and large SUVS are too heavy to be required to specify their fuel economy.
