The Sentra SE-R has been Nissan's affordable sport compact since the original boxy 2-door debuted in 1991. The latest SE-R Spec V is the most powerful yet, with a standard 200-bhp inline-4 and a 6-speed manual transmission.
First Drive: 2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SL
The Sentra has been a Nissan's entry level compact sedan for over 25 years. For 2007, Nissan totally revamped it to face tough competition from the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. With the new Versa at the bottom of the lineup, Nissan moved the Sentra slightly up market with additional content and options not available before.
