Overview Information
As the classic American sports car, the Corvette is power and style personified. This is the fastest convertible in its class, and is a great performance value. The standard 6.2L V-8 coupled to a 6-speed manual or automatic, provides unmatched power in its segment. Three suspension options allow the driver to choose their preferred handling and ride preferences. Active Handling stability control is optional. Goodyear EMT run-flat tires are standard. An power-operated top is optional.
What Changed:
A new 1LT convertible model has been added with a lower MSRP. A power operated top is now standard on 2LT models.

After a milestone year in 2008 that saw the introduction of the LS3 6.2L V-8 as the new standard engine, a custom, leather-wrapped interior and more upgrades, the Corvette powers into 2009 with a raft of enhancements that further distinguish it and give customers more choices - including a lower-priced convertible model.
