The Touareg is a true SUV

Overview Information

The Touareg is Volkswagens entry in the SUV market. Developed in conjunction with the Porsche Cayenne, the Touareg offers a luxury interior paired with a chassis and drive system that is more than capable off-road as well as on-road. Engine choices and pricing range wildly from $40,000 V6 powered entry-level model. V8-powered models are priced near $50,000. Audi/Volkswagen have some of the better-looking interiors and the Touareg is no exception. On paper, the Touareg has a lot going for it, but its premium pricing places it in competition with a lot of models with more prestige than that of the "people's car"
