2009 Dodge Journey
The Dodge Journey is an all-new crossover vehicle with three rows of seating for up to seven passengers. The Journey is conceptually a wagon version of the Avenger sedan, but rides on a 5-inch longer wheelbase. In the US, the Journey offers a choice of 2.4L four-cylinder, or 3.5L V6 power. All-wheel-drive is available.
2008 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab
The Dakota receives styling updates for 2008. Output of the 4.7L V8 increases to 302 hp, a gain of 42 hp.

2009 Dodge Avenger
The Avenger benefits from option package and standard equipment changes. An improved acoustic package aims to reduce noise levels in the cabin. The all-wheel-drive model has been dropped.
2009 Dodge Caliber
The Caliber receives a number of feature and option package changes. Chrysler added additional insulation in the engine compartment and floors to reduce noise in the cabin. The all-wheel-drive model has been dropped. All Calibers are FWD only.

For the 2009 model year, Dodge rounds out the Challenger line with six-cylinder models and non SRT V8 models.
2009 Dodge Charger
Updated 5.7L Hemi V8 offers improved horsepower and fuel economy. All-wheel-drive models are now equipped to automatically disengage the all-wheel-drive when it is not required. This results in improved fuel economy for AWD models. Minor equipment changes include a new chromed grille and illuminated cup holders.
2009 Dodge Durango
A two-mode hybrid version joins the lineup for 2009. The Hemi Hybrid pairs the 5.7L V8 with the two-mode hybrid system found in GM vehicles. The hybrid has an estimated fuel economy of 19 city/20 highway. Non hybrid models benefit from updates to the 5.7L V8. The updated Hemi increases power and fuel economy.
2009 Dodge Grand Caravan
Dodge's minivan sees a number of tweaks in its second year after a major overhaul. The brake system has been updated to improve braking performance. Fuel economy on the 4.0L improves to 17/25. A new blind spot monitoring feature is offered on SXT models. Stow 'n Go seats become standard equipment.
2009 Dodge Nitro
The Nitro benefits from some mechanical tweaks for 2009. The braking system has been updated to improve pedal feel. A revised suspension includes retuned springs, shocks, roll-bars and stiffer rear axles. Automatic transmissions become standard on all models eliminating the manual transmission.
2009 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Passenger Van
The gas-powered models have been discontinued. An electric power-sliding door is available.

The Dodge brand is the volume seller for Chrysler, and has the most complete lineup of vehicles. Dodge products range from the compact Caliber to a full complement of trucks. Dodge offers high-performance SRT models of most of its product line.
The new Ram pickup truck holds the key to the Dodge brand's success. With revamped interior and exterior styling, plus a new coil spring rear suspension, the Ram aims to hold its own in an increasingly competitive full-sized truck market. The Ram differentiates itself from other pickups with its signature bold looks, innovative features and the widely recognized Hemi V-8 engine.
After a limited run in 2008, the full lineup of Challenger coupes reaches dealerships this year. The model range includes a V-6 Challenger SE and intermediate V-8 R/T models. Dodge eliminated the slow-selling Dodge Magnum wagon to make production room for the Challenger.

The Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen become Chrysler's first hybrid models. Both models pair the 5.7L Hemi V-8 to the two-mode hybrid system used in General Motors vehicles.
An updated 5.7L Hemi V-8 offers increased horsepower and fuel economy in non-hybrid Durango models and the Charger sedan.
The next new Dodge vehicles will be small cars sourced from Nissan.
