2006 Chicago Auto Show

After the crowded pandemonium of Detroit, the Chicago Auto Show is always a welcome treat. Chicago has the distinction of hosting one of the largest auto shows in both attendance and square footage. The Chicago show is spacious and relaxed but tough on the feet.

Of all the new products discussed and revealed at the Chicago show, the most significant introduction was that of the second generation Tundra. Hyundai (and Kia) look to be releasing a solid new minivan on the market. A competitive product with the Hyundai warranty and value should draw hard looks from shoppers in this segment. We like the idea of creating a new sedan-based Civic Si for those that need the back seat room but find the performance and six-speed manual appealing. A new SRT4 bowed based on the upcoming Caliber.
