2006 Geneva International Motor Show

As one of the premier European venues, the Geneva Motor Show does not disappoint. Although, there is a decidedly European focus for this auto show, Geneva frequently hosts world debuts of cars headed to the U.S. market. Unlike the sprawling Frankfurt Motor Show, the venue at Geneva is a little more manageable. Even so, the Geneva Motor Show is still packed with new products from global auto companies, as well as smaller regional car makers.

Like the city itself, the Geneva Motor Show is a truly an international experience. It features a wide array of manufacturers that range from global companies like Toyota, GM, Fiat, & VW, to smaller specialist automakers such as Mazel, Pininfarina, or Castagna. All this diversity is contained in the large, yet easily accessible Geneva Palexpo exhibition hall. As a tribute to the 100th anniversary of Revue Automobile magazine, the 2006 Geneva Motor Show has a special display of 14 significant and rare cars that highlight automotive progress in the past century.
