Concepts

Mitsubishi has endured a few boom and bust cycles, but has emerged from its most recent troubles with a solid lineup of small cars.

An all-new Lancer went on sale in 2007 as a 2008 model. The new Lancer wears striking new styling on its larger body. Mitsubishi offers Lancer in DE, ES, and GTS trim levels ranging in price from $14,000-18,500. All are powered by a 152-hp four-cylinder mated to either a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission.

Mitsubishi's solid small SUV, the Outlander benefits from a number of enhancements for the 2008 model year.

An aggressive new Lancer means a new Lancer Evolution is nigh. Mitsubishi's rally-bred street monster packs a 295-hp turbocharged and intercooled engine in to a new car with looks more befitting its over $30,000 price tag. New driveline technologies aim to make the day-to-day driving experience as rewarding as it is when your foot is pressed hard to the floor.
